Observing people at work reminds me of the dignity of work and of the people. Our lives are better because of the work many of these people do.

Near the Brazos Railroad Bridge, Cal Fish and Game were checking on the critters living there.
We had to have a large pine tree removed from our back yard. I was fascinated with the ease and agility with which Paulo moved in the tree tops.

I was watching with awe as these guys moved so easily around in the tops of the trees. I was happy to see these old eucalyptus go. They threatened our house. The chainsaw dust cloud is what I wanted to show in this painting.
A tug pushed a large barge into the Port of Richmond, CA. Four guys on the deck discussing something, I was too far away to hear what they said. If you turn 180 degrees, you would be looking at the Red Oak Victory Ship. It is named after the town in Iowa that lost many in WWII.
