  • Mount Tamalpais #19

A view from Creekside Park, aka Hal Brown Park, near Marin General Hospital. That is Corte Madera Creek after Tamalpais Creek merges.

  • Mount Tamalpais #13

I saw this view when returning from the San Pablo Yacht Harbor on Point Molate, North of the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge over the San Francisco Bay. The view was actually quite dull that day, but a few days later I saw the fog creeping around the mountain and the sky turning yellow at sunset. So I painted it that way

  • Mount Tamalpais #12

This view is from Smith Ranch Road in Marin County. I tried to change the time of day of this view since I was so tired of blue skies.  The skies are solid blue during the dry season. Few clouds appear. Only the fog from the ocean breaks up the sky blue in the Bay Area for long stretches of time.

  • Mount Tamalpais #9

I saw this view on a trail near Point San Pedro Road, and Biscayne Drive in San Rafael, CA.  The Scotch Broom was over my head and blooming. I caught a glimpse of the mountain there.

  • Mount Tamalpais #5

This view is from Hercules, CA. Almost a monochromatic study of the mountain.

  • Elephant Rock-Golden Gate-Lime Point

The view from near Fort Baker nearly under the Golden Gate Bridge on the North side. The fog covers the top of the bridge but sun falls on the foreground.
