I saw this view when returning from the San Pablo Yacht Harbor on Point Molate, North of the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge over the San Francisco Bay. The view was actually quite dull that day, but a few days later I saw the fog creeping around the mountain and the sky turning yellow at sunset. So I painted it that way.
